Tia Wilson and Zion Ferguson met in 2020. With Zion's strategic planning and Tia's culinary background, they cooked up something special—creating Chicken Scratch's first location,  a carry-out establishment serving scratch-made dishes on Keystone Avenue in Indianapolis.

Together, they became number one on DoorDash's local restaurant list in 2022.

Fast forward to 2023, Chicken Scratch has expanded from Indiana to Ohio, with its Cincinnati location opening in July.
